What’s New & Contact
Hello Friends, Colleagues, Students and Clients
I am very pleased to announce that I have received my diploma in Existential Integrative Psychotherapy from the Living Institute here in Toronto. I am now accepting clients as part of my clinical practice. I am under expert supervision of Caroline Mardon, Director of the clinic.
This training has been instrumental in taking the work I do in holding a space for you to another level by deepening my understanding of material that comes up from the psyche as well as gaining insights in my somatic practice.
My focus is, as always, on facilitating what you want or need to relieve pain be it physical, emotional, or spiritual and to feel more alive. If you or anyone you know would like to engage in meaningful conversations about life and explore being bodyful via sensations, feelings, and using movement possibilities as a way of connecting with your soul work and purpose, call me. Or if someone you know is in crisis and in need of emotional support, I can help.
CranioSacral Therapy Techniques for Yoga Instructors at the Yoga Conference was a wonderful opportunity to meet and work with a group of caring and committed Yoga teachers. It was an honour to work with such conscious individuals.
Introduction to Laban Movement Analysis in June was a lively and intense weekend of beautiful moving explorations questions and observations.
In September, my movement and fitness classes at Timothy Eaton church (room 107) commence September 12. The days and times are the Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 9:30 to 10:30.
On Friday evenings from 6 – 8:00 for 6 weeks starting September 30, I am offering a movement class based on Bartenieff Fundamentals and Laban Movement Analysis. This “Moving From The Inside Out” class will expand on and utilize material from themes experienced in the introductory courses. Themes will be explored through sequences set to music or the breath of the body. Time will be allotted for questions and personal explorations.
I am offering Introduction to Bartenieff Fundamentals September 16 – 18, 2011
and Introduction to Laban Movement Analysis November 4 – 6, 2011
Finally I am happy to announce that as of May I have been sharing an office space with my colleague Megan Palmer. We work out of the Therapy Centre at 400 Dupont (a 4 minute walk from Dupont Subway station). My official days are Thursday and Saturday but can accomodate at other times.
